How does the free trial work, and what happens when it ends?

The free trial lasts 30 days, covers one pet, and needs no card. It starts when you add Pawsome Family to Chrome and connect it, not when you sign up. When it ends, your pet stays but naps in one corner of your tabs until you get the plan.

When the 30 days start

Making your pet and signing up do not start the trial. It starts the first time the extension connects to your account, and the app tells you so: “Your 30-day free trial has started.”

Until then, the Plan page says “Free trial not started.” Adding the extension on a second computer later does not start a new trial.

What the trial includes

The trial covers one pet. Everything else is the same as the plan: your pet walks, sits, and naps along the bottom of every tab, and you can edit them or refresh them from new photos whenever you like.

To add more pets, get the plan. It covers up to 5, and your first pet stays just as they are.

How to see how long is left

We also email you before the trial ends, and once more a week after.

When the trial ends

Nothing is deleted and nothing is charged, because we never asked for a card. Your pet stays in your tabs, asleep in one corner instead of walking around. Select your sleeping pet to see a small card with See the plan and Not now.

Get the plan

  1. In the app, open Plan under Settings.
  2. Select Get the plan.
  3. Pay in the checkout window, which is run by Paddle.

The plan is $5 a month, billed once a year at $60, with taxes included. You can get a full refund within 14 days of any yearly charge. See pricing and how to cancel or get a refund.
